Partner terms

These terms apply to people and businesses who refer customers to Pointspoken through a partner link ("partners"). Pointspoken is operated and developed by AVENOR DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES LTD. Version 2026-09-17. You accept these terms on your partner dashboard, after signing in with the email address we invited; they apply together with our terms of service and privacy policy.

1. Joining

The programme is by invitation. We choose partners individually and may decline or end an invitation. Your commission rate and term are shown on your partner dashboard; if they differ from the standard offer described here, your dashboard applies.

2. How referrals are credited

  • A referral is credited to you when a person arrives through your partner link and creates a new Pointspoken account in the same browser.
  • If the visitor accepts cookies, your link is remembered for 60 days. If they do not, it is remembered for that browser session only. If a person uses several partner links, the most recent one counts.
  • People who already have a Pointspoken account cannot be credited to a partner. Referrals cannot be claimed afterwards by email or screenshot.
  • Our records decide whether a referral was credited. We will look into any case you raise within 60 days of the sign-up.

3. Commission

  • The standard commission is 30% of each payment a referred customer makes during the first 12 months after their first payment.
  • Commission is calculated on the price the customer paid after discounts and before sales tax or VAT.
  • Monthly plan: 30% of each monthly payment, for up to 12 payments. Annual plan: 30% of the first annual payment; renewals of an annual plan earn no commission. If a customer changes plan, commission never covers more than 12 months of their subscription in total.
  • Free accounts and free trials earn nothing until the customer makes a payment. Commission stops when the customer cancels.

4. Refund hold and reversals

  • Customers can have any payment refunded within 14 days. Each commission is therefore held for 30 days after the payment and becomes payable after that.
  • If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is cancelled. If it has already been paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payout.

5. Payouts

  • Payable commission is sent once a month, in US dollars, by bank transfer, when your payable balance is $25.00 or more. Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
  • You enter the bank account you want to be paid to on your partner dashboard and keep it accurate. Keep the email inbox you sign in with secure: whoever can read it can open your dashboard. Changes are logged and we may confirm a change with you by email before paying; tell us at once if your details change and you did not change them. We pay our own sending fees; charges made by your bank or an intermediary bank are yours.
  • You must have accepted these terms before the first payout.
  • You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn. You are an independent partner, not an employee, agent or representative of AVENOR DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES LTD.

6. Rules

  • Say clearly that you earn a commission whenever you share your link, in the way the law and the platform you post on require.
  • Describe Pointspoken honestly. Do not promise results such as a job offer, a test score or fluency, and do not invent reviews, user numbers or endorsements.
  • No commission on your own subscription or on accounts you control, and no paying or rewarding people to subscribe.
  • No search advertising on the name "Pointspoken", its misspellings or our domain. No coupon or deal sites, spam, unsolicited bulk messages, fake accounts or misleading redirects.
  • Do not present yourself as Pointspoken or as AVENOR DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES LTD, and do not register domains or social accounts that could be mistaken for ours.

Commission earned by breaking these rules is cancelled, and we may end your participation.

7. Name and logo

While you are a partner you may use the Pointspoken name and the logo files we provide to refer to the product. Do not alter the logo or suggest that we sponsor or endorse your other content. Content you make stays yours; we will ask before using it in our own advertising.

8. Changes and ending

  • We may change these terms or the standard offer. We will email you at least 14 days before a change, and changes apply only to customers referred after it takes effect.
  • You or we can end your participation at any time by email. If it ends without a breach on your side, you keep earning on customers already referred until their commission term ends, and we pay your payable balance whatever its size.

9. Liability and law

Our total liability to you under this programme is limited to the commission paid or payable to you in the twelve months before the claim. These partner terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in the same way as our terms of service.
